From install to refund
in three steps
Refundy is a Chrome extension for desktop. Install it once and it picks up cashback while you shop — and when something you bought on Taobao gets cheaper, you get the difference back.
STEP 03 · Price drops
Prices dropped after you bought? Get the difference back
Register your Taobao orders and Refundy AI watches their prices for 30 days from the order date. If a price drops, we file the refund request for you. Only registered orders are tracked.
Register orders from your Taobao order history
Open your Taobao purchase history and the Refundy button lets you know about new orders. Click Register orders and Refundy AI starts tracking price drops.
- One click registers the orders shown on the current page, except closed or canceled orders and orders not yet paid.
- Registered orders from the last 30 days are tracked, and if a price drops, you get the difference back. If the next page has more orders from the last 30 days, register them there too.
- Turn off Chrome page translation. If the page is translated, Refundy can’t read your orders.
You have new orders
Register orders and we’ll automatically refund price drops.
Link your Taobao account in the Refund tab
- 1Open the Refund tab at the bottom of the side panel.
- 2Under Taobao account, choose the account you registered orders with, then enter its password from the gear icon (Account Management).
When a price drop is found, Refundy AI uses this account to request the refund for you. You can also see tracked orders and refunded amounts here.
Register with confidence
- We collect only the minimum information needed for price tracking and keep it encrypted.
- Everything is done automatically by Refundy AI linked to your account — not by people.

We message you when a price drops
When the price goes down, we send you a notification, and Refundy AI processes the refund automatically through your linked Taobao account.
When the refund is done, the difference comes back to you
Once the refund is complete, we notify you and the difference is returned through your payment method, such as a partial card cancellation or Alipay. If you paid by card, your card company also sends a cancellation notice.
- When the refund is complete, Refundy shares the result and asks you to pay the service fee.
- Payment cancellations from refunds take 2–3 business days.
